The Art & Science of Burring

Hi, My name is Krisztine Grad and I am a member of CNO and RNAO. I am a registered nurse and I am based in Hamilton, Ontario where I have a successful private foot care practice. Firstly, I would like to welcome you and thank you for your interest! Although I have been providing foot care services since 2005, my interest in burring started in 2011 when I visited northern California in the United States. It was during that trip that I became familiar with the Helius40, a high-speed integrated vacuum podiatry drill. From that point on, I recognized the numerous advantages of using this drill, along with a wide range of over 95 unique bur types. This combination not only allows for precise clinical procedures, but it also ensures a safer and pain-free experience for patients, regardless of the complexities involved. This change in podiatry equipment instantly transformed my practice and fueled my desire to become a master in burring techniques. Throughout the past ten years, I have had the fortunate opportunity to attend multiple conferences and events in different provinces, where I have guided and demonstrated safe practices using a diverse assortment of burs. My ultimate goal is to educate fellow foot care providers and to share my expertise with you so that you can fully appreciate the complete foot care experience.
